Some of the school's strengths include:

- A calm, caring and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their best.

- A strong sense of Manx identity, with local culture and heritage embedded throughout school life.
- A wide range of enrichment opportunities including music, dance, art, Forest School, charity work and community events.
- Effective learner leadership opportunities that help pupils develop confidence, responsibility and life skills.
- A positive culture of teamwork, with staff, pupils, parents and community members all contributing to school life.
- Strong professional collaboration between staff, supported by shared learning and partnerships with other schools.
- Leaders who know the school well and have created a culture of openness, trust and continuous improvement.
- Improving approaches to teaching, learning and assessment that help pupils understand their learning and progress.
The report also gave us some helpful pointers for the future, which match our own improvement plans:
- Continue to strengthen assessment and feedback so that pupils have an even clearer understanding of what they are learning, how well they are doing and their next steps.
- Further develop learner voice, ensuring pupils have greater opportunities to influence learning and take ownership of their educational journey.
- Build leadership capacity across the wider staff team to support ongoing evaluation, improvement and the achievement of the best possible outcomes for pupils.

Below we present attainment data from the end of the previous academic year (2024 - 2025), offering an overview of attainment for each 'core' subject area. The table indicates the percentage of pupils whose attainment is expected or above and those whose attainment is below ('developing'). This information helps us reflect on learning outcomes, plan for future support, and celebrate the achievements of our learners.
