This lovely display shows the fantastic writing our Reception children have been working on during their Spring topic. The children have written simple sentences independently, using their phonics to sound out words and share things they love about spring. They are beginning to form letters clearly, leave spaces between words and write sentences that can be read by others, which are all important early writing skills. The writing is full of enthusiasm and meaning, and when combined with the children’s bright artwork, it shows just how proud they are of their learning and how well they are developing as confident young writers.
