Reception | Remarkable Reading!

Reception at Dhoon School is full of exciting, hands-on learning! Our youngest learners have been exploring phonics, sorting, and problem-solving through playful activities and interactive games. From matching words and pictures with the help of colourful characters, to sorting aliens (our friends 'The Smeds and The Snoos', of course!) by their shapes and colours, and playing board games that reinforce reading skills, every experience is designed to make learning fun and meaningful. These activities not only spark curiosity and creativity but also help children deepen their understanding and build confidence as they learn through play - what a great way to learn!
