Class 2 | Lighting Up Our Learning!

This fantastic work from Class 2 shows how creatively the children have been combining art and science in their learning. As part of their topic on electrical circuits, the children designed and decorated their own colourful lighthouses before carefully adding a working circuit, complete with a bulb, to make them really shine. To be successful, they needed to understand how to connect the components correctly and create a complete circuit, then test and adjust their work when needed. The finished results are both striking and impressive, clearly demonstrating curiosity, perseverance and a secure understanding of how simple electrical circuits work, as well as plenty of creativity along the way.
